Truss Rod(s) 320 & 325

Post by brian »

I have a posting on this in the guitar section, but maybe I should be posting here. Where can I find out information on which versions of these guitars had single vs double truss rods. The 325C58 has a single rod system, but is that the only one ?

I have had a 325V59, a 325/12V63, and 3 325V63 models. I believe they all had single truss rods.

All the Vs I owned have had single rods. The late '70s and early '80s 320s I owned, however, had double rods.

Hmmm, seems a question for John Hall if he knows; How come some have one and some have two?The mid 80s 325 -12 I had used just one...

Yes, very confusing, the ones I have owned 325c58 and 320 (80s) all have one rod. But some literature (non Ric) that I have read and feddback here seem to imply a two rod system in some models.

It's just a matter of how the truss rod Nazi feels about you on any given day.

Then we can no doubt be looking forward to a TTR option sometime in the vague future.

If the Truss Rod Nazi were like the Soup Nazi, then some would get no truss rods!

Gary, the truss rod Nazi hates mandolins so they don't get any.
