Next time YOU search for the information!;-)
In the old thrad someone said it was made between '74 and '81, and that at this point of time(for a period of 10 years) the necks weren't that thin.

Rkbsound - Thank you.

Yeah, Peter likes the slightly thicker neck from that mid 70's to early 80's period. This is also why he can get away with putting Dean Markley .013-.056's on that neck.

With the "regular" neck on my 360, I'd go no higher than a set of flatwound 12's. Having said that, I've not had any problems with the thinner neck style on Rics, as some people really seem to struggle for space.

I like the fact that Peter wouldn't want a signature series....it doesn't suit him as the anti-guitar player guitar player that he is.

I fully admit to my laziness, Oli! Thanks for the legwork. Anyway, I understand that Buck owns a McGuinn signature Rick. I don't think this has been covered yet, so I'll ask if anyone knows if Buck has ever recorded with it.

To the best of my knowledge, I've never READ anything from Peter saying he recorded with it....although, he doesn't really broadcast these things, so don't take that as a definitive answer.

I think he records most of his 12 string stuff with his Fireglo 360, I think it is....
