Wow....that is beautiful. That color is gorgeous. I love the way the back of the neck looks, too--something about that walnut stripe with the Blueburst finish.... I hope this is an extremely profitable year for our home business so I can order mine!

I'm not as enthused about the back of the neck as some. To be honest, I think it looks a little goofy.

Note that there is no clear center on the front. To quote John Hall, "There is no "white" area at all in the middle as it just doesn't look right on this color." Why do on the back of the neck and headstock, then?
You want to put that where?

It could be the lighting or glare?

It does look good but on revisiting, not great. IMO blue would be a difficult color to work with in this way because it wouldn't have the capacity to use and enrich the 'earthy' and 'woody' qualities and hues of the materials being used (does that make any sense?).

Having said that, I'll take a 360/6 in BB if it becomes available and I have the greens! Image

This ad says the nut width is 1.75", like the 660. False advertising, or did Ric pull a fast one on us and widen all the necks? I like the BBR, but honestly, I think all the standard colors are sharper. I've always wanted a JG, but people say they look really smudgy unless you polish them all the time.

I believe that the back has more of a regular Rickenbacker FG burst to it. I mean they spray in a pretty precise pattern. As precise as you can in a burst sort of way.......oh forget it. :-)

Oooh. At first I didn't care too much for the whole BBR concept, but those pictures are changing my mind... If anybody sees any BBR 620 pics, please mention it!
