Re-Issue Rose Morris 1999 (How about doing it?)

Post by kbhag »

JH, any updates on re-issue basses? My personal request/favorite idea, a RM1999 Re-Issue or the V-68 Re-Issue?

I'd like to buy a bass!

How about something *other* than a Horseshoe/Toaster eqipped 4001S, lets say....

I want a V68 BAD!
Make mine Fireglo, with the horseshoe please!

Mr. Hall,
I still volunteer to be the guinea pig and take the prototype! I'll even donate enough eastern hard curly maple for a couple basses!Image

The 1999 was a 4001S which is what the V63 and C64 are supposed to represent. So the 1999 has been reissued.

Yep, just add a finger grip if you desire, and you've got one.

Oh, they haven't finished them yet? I thought all 60 would have been on the street by now. 4 years? maaaaaaaaaaaaaan. I really want one badly.

I ordered mine 01/17/01 from Mike Parks. He ordered 14 and I'm 2nd on his list and I'm not sure if the 1st person to order from him got their's yet. I have no idea how deep they are in to the run of 60 or where in the run my order falls but Mr. Hall told me in an email that the run will be finished by summer of this year. I'm hoping but, after all of this time, not very confident Image
