My solution...

I sold it. Made a few bucks, but didn't break the bank.

I suppose that I like the idea of a Ric more than actually playing one -- at least the ones I've had.

Who knows? I may happen upon a Reissue with Toasters that I really love, but the ones I've had so far didn't do much for me -- other than the fact that they were simply gorgeous to behold.

I appreciate the help and comments over the past month, but I guess it's back to the TDPRI and Gibson Forum for me...

I'm sorry that it didn't work out Kev, but don't give up. When you find your perfect Ric 12, it will be worth the wait.
Meanwhile, there is one more Ric floating about for those of us that can't live without them!
