the guy who made our website (http://www.shamustwins.com) is heavily into the hemp movement and gave me a video made by the US Gov. in the 1940's promoting the many practical uses of hemp (everything from fuel to clothing). Don't smoke it, though!

Wow. . . I leave the forum for a couple weeks and it's come to lawyers, guns, money, and centerfolds. Who woulda thunk it of a bunch of "old fogey rick-backers?"
I'll tell you who competes with Rick, at least for my guitar dollar:

I wanted something made in the USA with a 335 type sound OR a rick sound. Because the rick was unique looking/sounding, handmade, and available for test drive within a few' hours journey to North Carolina's mega guitar stores, I went with rick.
I love 335 type sounds too. But the real article is well over 2 grand. I was not impressed with any of Gibson's own various knockoffs (333, sheraton, etc.). The better hamers and heritage guitars are even harder to find in a store than a rick.
