We'll be providing transportation to the event from the "official" hotel. There ARE hotels near the event site, all mostly in the $500 per night and up category. Want me to reserve a room for you Jerry?

There's also an invitation only component to this event which ties in a bit to this issue.

John, Are the forum people part of the "invitation only" or is that mostly a VIP thing?

John - will there be transportation back to the "official" hotel after the Saturday night event?

I'm sure that if there's transportation to the event from the hotel, it would be safe to assume that there will also be transportation BACK again.... That just makes sense.... Unless the event is so good that none of us WANT to go back to the hotel and sleep, LOL! Image

Oh, I can't wait! It will be so much fun to meet everyone!

That's what I'm assuming Melissa, (although you know what happens when you "assume"... Image), but I'm hoping to get a confirmation from JH.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time I paid 500 bucks for a hotel room, nor would it be the first time I *was not* invited to a shindig! Image

So, given my luck, I'll pass on your kind offer to reserve a room for me, JH! Image

There's transportation both ways.

For those not staying at the "official" hotel, it might be possible to meet at a "staging area" and carpool to the hotel, or the event itself, for that matter.

Is there a recommended dress code for the "Big Event"?

I was gonna ask the same thing.... It would not be nice to crash a black tie party looking like a tourist from the north woods! Image

Besides, I need a good excuse to go shopping! Image

Yes, there is. It's required that you wear clothes.
