When recording and mixing music, you must don the engineering hat, no matter how good the content is.

"Me, I'm just a lawnlower, you can tell me by the way I walk."

I'm technologically semi-illiterate, LOL! Image

Digital recording is way over my head, but I've gotten my feet wet, as it were.... Well, we've all gotta start somewhere! Image

I love 'Foxtrot', although my all time favourite has to be 'Trick of the tail'....Squonk & co!

I have to finish a couple of paintings (income comes first!!!) & I have just come down with a dreadful cold & sore throat. My hearing is totaly gone at the mo, so it looks like a start date of next week. I must say that I'm really looking forward to it & I've listened to some tracks all ready. It's going to be a very interesting project & hopefully a representitive record of how Ric fans on this forum are using these most glorious of guitars.

Actually, "I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)" is from Selling England by the Pound.

Get well, and have fun with it, I'm looking forward to it as well.

heh heh heh that was a fun little hijack, I have to admit.

Get well soon, Tony! We want you and your ears in tip top shape most of all. The CD surely can wait until then. Thanks again. I can't wait to hear my tune... kind of. I wish I had all my new gear when I did it though!

So it is Steve....oops! I've got them all too!

Thanks for your get well wishes, it's only a cold, but a pretty aggressive one. I'll be right as rain in three or four days....

Take care of that cold, Tony--I've got one, too. Herbal throat coat teas with Echinacea really help.

According to Mousie, the best cure for cold is hot milk with honey (huh).
Get well soon, Tony.

I've had a cold since the Friday before Christmas... it's really aggravating me how it persists. Darned post-nasal drip...

I recorded two songs last weekend, and for one song, the cold make my voice sound raspier and better, for the other song, it just sounds ******.

Obviously I have no cure... LOL
