I can't find the words to express how surprised, and pleased I am for my song to have made the final cut. Thanks. I'm humbled and honored.

Cool. I was worried there for a moment that it would be listed under my name and not my band's name (the lowlies).

Thanks again for including my band's tune and all the hard work you've put into this.
Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).

Thanks for including one of my tracks! 8) :D :D :D
I'm over the moon to be on this, though I have to admit I think it is the weakest track out of the 3 I submitted.
But, as they say in Poland, "One man's Kiwi fruit is another man's melon". :D

Hey all - the kudos much appreciated, but please "hold all your applause until the competition is over" as they say. The CD isn't actually finished yet, but rest assured it is well on it's way.

UPDATE: The mastering process is HALF COMPLETE

- just a remaining 8-10 more songs to go. I would have finished it last night, but me mum is in town this weekend for mother's day mayhem, so I may not be able to resume until early next week. The good news - by editing a few songs here & there, (shortening extended intros & fade outs,) I may have been able to make enough room for one more song to fit on the CD. Will keep you posted there!

*UPDATE*

All 20 songs have been mastered and arranged. What I said earlier about being able to squeeze in one more tune - not gonna happen; sorry. My math was a little off on that estimate. As a matter of fact, I'm still about 30 seconds over budget, but with a little nick & tuck & fade here and there, I'm confident that it'll all work out -WITHOUT- having to sacrifice my 65-minute bass solo in my tune. Everyone's a winner!

Yeah. So, the CD audio master should be finito tomorrow.

A heads-up for the following folks:

Gareth Holder
Jeff Scott
Anthony Carey
Tom Shiben
Keith Smart
Jim Krause
Matt Wolf

Can you guys please hit me back with your song & band info, basically all this stuff:

1. Your name
2. Your RRF moniker (as with above, list all of those involved)
3. Band’s name (and all other musicians involved with your recording. PLEASE point out who the RRF members are if you’re not the only one.)
4. Songwriting credit
5. Band/Musician photo (*preferably emailed in digital format*)
6. Copyright owner
7. Model number of the Rickenbacker instrument(s) featured on your recording, including year & month of production.
8. Your contact info including email address

Sorry about the repetition. I know pretty much all of you already sent it, but a lot of this info was lost when my previous hard drive died. PLEASE send it to me here via PM ASAP!

Thanks!
