Mr. Hall,
When you finally attack the Cii 5 String project, please do not forget to re-evaluate the gold metal pickup surround like there are on the Cheyenne Cii 4 String. It`s just looks, but that detail makes the pickup a look which would be a lot different than similar ones you find on other Bass guitars.

Hrrm does the Jazzbo have a piezo in it?

The Jazzbo at NAMM didn't have a piezo in it but it was only the prototype.

It sounds like the bottom line is the 4004C5ii won't be available until sometime in 2004?
Is it possible Mr. Hall will give us a hint about the "project immediately behind the 4004Cii's"? I agree with Andrew it would be nice to know if this is a bass, guitar or pickup project. I understand the need to keep information on new products etc under wraps, but Im nosey as hell and like to plan my RIC purchases ahead of time.

I didn't think we had any other choice than to plan RIC purchases in advance, since there is usually at least a few months waiting time on anything ordered, and some items can take years!

I've noticed that. I've been planning to buy a 4004C5ii in Trans Red since the bass was originally announced at NAMM last January. Silly me.... now it looks like 2004.. maybe.
