Anyone going to NAMM to take pictures of the RIC Basses ?
If any of you is lucky enough to go visit the NAMM show this week-end, please etake pictures of the Rickenbacker Booth and post them asap for guys like me who can`t go.
I am highly interested to see pictures of the Cheyenne 5 String if possible.

I found one (above link) at the Voxtalks forum. Montezuma Brown on a 360.

The Montezua Brown is captivating to be sure. I really like the contrast with the fretboard.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Nice picture of the Cheyenne C11 5 String !!!
I was told by Rickenbacker Representant that the Cheyenne C11 5 String might be available within the next 10 months or so.... It has been more than one year so far that I have been waiting and now it will make it more than two if they ever decide to produce the Bass !!!
Too bad that the pickups are not surrounded by the gold metal plate that is on the Cheyenne 4 String for instance. It`s just looks but it does look very good on the Cheyenne 4 string.

I prefered the pickup surround as well on the 4 string Cheyenne.
That neck looks awfully wide to my eye, of course, I'm one of the few who don't mind the string spacing on the 4003S/5. My only other concern is the overall feel of the neck, and how deep it is. Some of the basses I've tried had wide fretboards, but a shallow depth made them easy to play.
I'm interested in hearing the impressions of people who could actually touch one of these. The only way that's going to happen here is to order one and see what the results are in January 2004 when it (hopefully) arrives.
