Is this a bolt on or a neck thru?

I like bolt on basses. A shim here, a neck tweak there, you can really dial in your action.

That one at Chris Clayton's was there for awhile too. $1495 if I remember correctly...

Jeff Rath loves 'em. He has 2 of them, if I remember right, they are nice playing basses! Super hot pickups!

they may be bolt on ... but my 1986 has more sustain than any 4003 that I have ever played ...

uh oh ... stop the presses ... Jeff Scott will have to start another thread ... naaa just kidding ...

And I have 2 2030-5 basses and a 2020-5 and I sold another 2030 ...

I thought I remember hearing that this run was never completed, that they were not big sellers. Any truth in that?

yep the 230, 220, 260, 250, 2020, 2030, 2050, and 2060 did not sell that well sort of like the 4000, 4001s, 4003s, and 4005 did not sell well ... if those models sold well they would still be made ...

Truth, John. If I remember correctly, 241 Glen Freys were made. I do not know the guitar/bass breakdown. Also, that is, weirdly, a misprint. It was indeed 2030 GF.

At least one of us Forumites owns a 2030GF:

Do you have the COA Gary? what does it say? 2030GF or 203GF?

Unfortunately, no, the guitar did not come with a COA.
