I like to get a 12-string Avalone if I could find one with racing stripes and earwigs

Now, to me, this one is much more reminiscent of an earwig (although not a 12-string):

Thanks for the input Jason!
I'm going to head up there this afternoon with a couple guitars and an offer to trade one of them straight up for the Squire, the other for a Roland AC-60 acoustic amp the owner's had in the shop for a pretty good while. Reasonably confident that the two I'm looking to unload are things he'd have a decent chance of turning around, in fact one is a 12-string Yamaha LL6J-12 that would go really nicely with the 6-string Yamaha LL6J he's got on the floor now. Keeping my fingers crossed anyway...

I have a Squier Venus XII, too, that I got in an eBay auction for $460.00. Mint condition.
I thought it would be fun and interesting to play and compare with my Rick 12s.
No comparison. Cheezy sound, OK playability. Feels like a bigger version of my daughter's Squier mini-Strat, rather than a relative of one of my Jaguars. To be honest, haven't looked at it in a couple of months...

That is the guy from Kula Shaker in an ad from the short time when they were made.
