Brian - ever make it across lower Michigan with Pegasus? Maybe it is the confusion of other bands also using the name - I searched before posting the first time but didn't see anything that would explain the vague memory. Oh well...

No, not that I recall. I have been to Michigan but not with my band.
My bass player was originally from St. Catherines Ontario though and he is a friend of both Neil Peart and Geddy Lee.
Word used to spread quite quickly in the music world back in 1975 when something was brewing. Particularly if you were well connected, as we were back then.

hey John - I checked out your Myspace page. Great sounding stuff! I dig the vocal harmonies, and it sounds like everyone in the band is a great player. I probably won't be able to make it out since I'm currently in NYC, but have a good one.

Thanks for the kind words Mark! On the recordings I'm playing all the instruments, except for the songs with real drums, I got a buddy to do that.
I do have a good band together for this show though! You know how it is trying to hold a stable band together sometimes! Although this one may do it, who knows?

Wow, John! That's great. Nice job. Good to meet another fellow "one-man-band." Most of my stuff is recorded in the same way - all me with the occasional special guest. Check out my stuff when you get a chance.

Good luck with the "real" band. Yep. They're not easy to keep together.

My band,
Bridgework, will be playing at The Derby in Hollywood on 08/31/2006 at 9:00 pm.
I'll most likely be playing a Blueboy 4003, with a 2030 for backup.

For those of you in the NYC area, my band will be playing at The Pussycat Lounge late Saturday night Aug 26th.

The stage is upstairs, and downstairs you'll find the topless waitresses, so come for the women, stay for the music... or whatever you feel up to.

Thanks Mark. Glad you liked it. The gig went well. We sounded good, no one messed up. The tempo of most of our faster songs were down a few clicks due to our drummer feeling under the weather, but they still came out alright. I just wish there would have been some people there. Everyone we knew that said they would come flaked, so we ended up playing for about 10 people. We gave those 10 people our best though. I guess it's tough to get anyone in LA to come out before 10 pm.
