Karaoke on acid! FWIW, I never thought Peart's lyrics translated all that well in English....

Korpus is the correct translation for body. I played a ,,Bach'' Jazzbass once, not bad for the price. This doesn't necessarily have to be true for any instrument they sell...

Actually, that Bach looks kinda - ehm - funny. And what a pathetic name, eh!

Stringed instruments like a guitar or a violin do have a Korpus, animals and men have a Körper.

Korpus is the correct technical term for the body of an instrument.

I had one of these 4004-cpoies with a kind of butterscotch finish. All maple, bound body with flamed top, neck maple, very thin and comfortable, nice with real poa-shell inlays, low weight(about 7,5lbs), good hardware (nice bridge!). The only problem was the narrow magnetic range of the neck PU (similar like the problem with the 4004Cii5 PUs). so I replaced it with an AllParts Toaster...perfect. The result was a 4004 body with a 4001 sound. After 6 months though I sold it with some profit.Image

"Guilty. Ten years!"
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.
