Kris, you'd pass out in my shop...Exactos, sandpaper, soldering irons, chisels, and rasps all happily share workbench space with my customers' Rickenbackers!

Oh, I could handle it, Paul. I just cringe when I think of me using an Xacto knife anywhere near my Ricks!

I didn't pass out!

Paul does it well..... as he completes a phase in the restoration or build of a guitar or switches to another project he throws the empty Starbucks containers in the bin, puts all the tools and bits and pieces currently on the bench back where they belong and shakes out the diapers he uses on the bench to protect the instrument and lays them out again.

Then he scratches his head, rubs his face and contemplates his next move........... Image

Beware--there are Liquid Paper pretenders out there. The original was very opaque, dried like NOW, and was quite durable. Some of the newer ones are water-based, not very opaque, and take forever to dry. Not too good over acrylic plastic, either.

Look on the bottle. If it says, "FLAMMABLE", it's the right stuff.

And the Pretenders are in no way related to the Monkees, though they did do a Kinks cover or two.
