Here he is. Tell him Ronn from The Eggmen sent ya. He's very cool and laid back.

Hey guys, I am apparently playing the Capitol Rotunda for the legislature on April 5th during the lunch hour, in honor of Navasota Blues Festival day or something along those lines. Obviously Rick Perry would want me to play a Rick, but which color?

Black, like his heart.

We've played several functions for the Governor, including his Christmas party at the mansion a couple years back. Nice guy but our politics are 180 degrees out of sync. We play a lot of parties for golfer Ben Crenshaw and he and the Gov are buds so he's usually at those too. Here's the Gov after a few cocktails.

Okay, Ronn, but is he any good? Our drummer has been known to forget a gig once in a while....

Okay, we did our Capitol rotunda gig. No sign of the Governor but interesting acoustics. The rotunda is not that large across, but it goes 290 feet straight up, meaning it is like playing inside a smokestack. John Bonham would have been jealous. When we would stop playing, the roar would continue for another 4 or 5 seconds.
