
Exploding grovers

When I get a bass with Grovers I just grab the back cover and try to wiggle it, if it doesn't move it's probably going to be ok. If it does wiggle, just take it off and re-swage the pins, it's pretty easy to do.

With so many from that era, and if he is close to you in Philly, Dave, I wonder if one of them is a 1971 4001 wearing the SN KC012 in eggplant burgundy?
