No Mark, you're not the only one. I thought the song was quite nice.

And I agree it is a late '60s period piece. Still rather enjoyable though.

I like the Mojo Men's version of "Sit Down I Think I Love You"

The Ape-gentleman sort of reminded me of Meatloaf.

That guitar player in the back had the John Fogerty moves going on.

I just heard Shadows by the Vejatables on the Technicolor Web of Sound. It's amazing how different the sound is. I'm not sure when the posted song was recorded, but Shadows is classic '66 garage rock. It's almost like they went backwards as far as musical trends when seeing this clip (although the look seems to have come a couple centuries (and a couple nukes) too early to be popular.).

Some of the audience members look a little...uncertain...

I like the song, though, and the video is fun despite the unintentional simian humour. Period pieces like this get me hankering for a time machine.

In some ways I guess the sixties never really died... I found this on the YouTube sidebar - bloody hilarious!

Hilarious indeed! Especially the tree huggin' bit. Sometimes those attempts at being artsy 40 years ago just don't come off very well. Heck, they probably didn't back then either. Except everyone was too stoned to realize it.

Not for even a millisecond should ANYONE have thought those guys were British!
