The Durham vote:-
1st Version 4 - He gets the mood and feel of the song just right.
2nd Version 1 - Not as good, but passable.
3rd Version 2 - This was nearly given last place, but then I thought that's a pretty good effort. Another one of those songs that I don't really think suits a woman though.
4th Version 3 - The production on this version just doesn't work.
By the way I don't get to vote till now due to my weekend partying! Out on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, not to mention the days.
Saturday night at the karaoke I sang the Hollies "Bus Stop", Oasis "Don't Look Back In Anger", The Rasmus "In The Shadows" and UB40 & Chrissie Hynd's version of I Got You Babe with a woman from the village.

Maybe because I'm coming in late, but I had trouble getting some of the versions (2 and 4 in particular) to play.
Order of preference:
3 (was it a rather subdued Tom Jones?)
4 Gene Pitney of course
1 no idea who
2 a voice I vaguely recognise, more modern I think?

Bucked the trend there Nick but thanks for playing either way on this it should either play or can be downloaded choice is yours.

Some say prefer the zip file some like this way could be a reason not many play this fun bit.

3.Version 1 Del Shannon 2.62

Oops! Of course i didn't mean that, Roy! Image I just - was surprised about change of the leader in three votes. And 3,31 over 2,69 and 2,62 were the numbers that got me confused. According to what i've managed to count (4 points for first place, 3 for second etc), #4 got 28 points, #2 - 26 points, and #3 - 23 points. So, i'm wondering whether there have been votes which were not represented here on this page (your own, perhaps? Image)
