Knowing the characters involved as I do, the whole sequence of events leading up to my loosing it just struck me as soooo funny!!! Of course a huge nod goes out to today's Birthday Boy, Aitch, for providing me with that much mirth. Unfortunately, I don't get the option to laugh hard like that anyway near as much as I need to!

They used to make Gibsons in Kalamazoo...

Steve, the factory is still there and is the home of Heritage Guitars, run and built by ex-Gibson employees. I read in our Gazette where some of them were hoping to retire and are looking for investment/owner/luthier options.
