Gah! Those were bad, especially the Springsteen tribute (#28). However, I thought the Sax-a-mah-phone (#40) and the Jerry can (#22) were amusing and creative. And IMO it's not fair to judge a cigar box guitar (#30) - it's handicapped already by the limitations of the materials. And as for #5, the Blues SG, thank god that drunken old floozie is holding the dobro.

No. 20 was for sale on eBay... vaguely, 2-3 years ago? Something like that. I don't think it sold, though. No surprise, eh?

Here's #52, from today's Ebay crop:

Note the awful carved scroll on the body, which the seller seems to think is a factory option:

"did not touch body paint black and done by previous owner; which seems okay.I did not want to touch the beautiful unusal scroll in front and hard to find in that year."

Uh-huh.

That particular scroll work is thankfully difficult to find in any year.

I have started reading this thread only in the morning and avoiding afternoon naps to try to keep from having horrible mangled guitar nightmares.

Pretty much hard to find in any year. Like none.
