Genuine or fake?

I just bought a 330-12 string made in 1991. It is in such mint condition that I'm wondering if I bought a fake ?
The serial numer is engraved on the output jack plate, the nameplate is raised plastic, it came with the original case, the original Rick cardboard box as well as the original unfilled waranty card. The Chineese are really good at making copies like Rolex watches.

Any idea how I could tell if it is real or fake ?

Thanks

Lou

Yeah, it looks real. And quite nice. I guess you must have gotten it at a good price.

I don't think the Chinese make such good copies, I've seen some of their Gretsch copies, nothing like the originals. The Japanese made some better copies (not of this guitar as far as I know), but yours is real, even the sticker is from that era, as far as I remember.

Strangely enough, this thread is stuck on the one about the modified 450.

Here's what your luthier's Rick could look like in a few years' time if he keeps on "improving" it:

1991.... A good year for 330/12's. I'm still kicking myself for selling mine. Your guitar is beautiful, Lou! Congrats! :D
