Now don't be mad at this one

Post by marc61 »

This is a guitar that my local luthier keeps around. He's been playing around with it for years adding and modifying. It happens to have a lot of cool sounds..

How thoughtful - one switch for each string, and three spares just in case......

Not good with guitar models..Which one is that? or was that?

Wait..I didn't even notice..the trc is fake? is the guitar?

The finish looks like a nice fg in person

That is a 450. The TRC is as fake as fake is fake. It looks like it would be a good recording guitar for the studio, but it's a little fugly for me.

Presumably, all the switches change the sound. How many sounds do you need?

Who cares about the sound when you will be spending all your time messing with the switches. You'll never notice!

Does it this guitar have user instructions pasted on the back of it. One might need a refresher course on the switches if you haven't played that guitar in a while.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Ok..as Roger Clemens has stated..I "misremembered" the facts on the guitar.

He got the guitar in it's current state. Someone made him the trc...the guitar is not for sale, and he's had it since the mid 80's. He was never able to find any identifying marks on the guitar in reference to serial number or year. This probably due to all the routing.

The switches - top left - turns pre-amp on/off. next 4 - turns each of the four pickups, in/out of phase. top right/bottom three - turns each pickup on/off. There, not so complicated

oh, and it's difficult to see from the pics but, there are four pickups. The two with black covers are right infront of the neck, and closest to the bridge.
