They also had a beat up '77 4001 with Seymore Duncans in it that they wanted stupid money for.

I would make a point of checking that store often!morrow wrote:Our local vintage dealer seems to think Rics should sell for $1500 . Doesn't matter which model or year .
He might see one or two a year , they don't tend to stay in the store for long .

Re: None more black - RAS
You guys don't have any Rick dealers close to you, I don't have any honest Rick dealers close to me!

Re: None more black - RAS
That's probably more frustrating!
Re: None more black - RAS
Looks really great, Scott. Great bargain you found! Did you get the bridge cover with it?

From the Cerritos Sam Ash. Came with the pup cover and case candy. Great find.

Re: None more black - RAS
Scott, the last "official" year for Black Trim was 2002, but there has been at least one exception (aside from the recent RIC Outlet/eBay item). I think the elimination of BT was one of RIC's efforts to keep up with orders for the more popular/standard white/chrome trim. It may have come about because of a dwindling supply of black hardware items and a decision not to reorder them. Makes sense.
