Well, he did for a couple of days, anyway. MARF II was definitely a major Rickfest. :D

Sorry if I led you astray, Wes.

I was lucky enough to have done business with POTR the December before last. They had gotten a 1997 in and I was lucky enough to secure it. It was a privilege to deal with Chris. You cannot go wrong working with them.

Lead him astray?! Other than Dave, I don't think this statement holds either!

"A few local customers checking out the inventory."

If Rickenbacker gave an award for DEALER OF THE YEAR, Chris Clayton and POTR would win every year. Chris is fair, honest, enthusiastic, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. You will never go wrong here - Chris' reputation for fairness and his loyalty to his customers is unsurpassed, as you can see by reading some of the other posts. As a musician himself, he knows how to talk to fellow musicians, his knowledge of his product is unsurpassed; he really loves what he's doing, and it shows. A great dealer selling great instruments - Rick is lucky to have him!

I dealt with Chris when getting my new (well, back then) 4003BBR. He was a great guy to deal with and put up with a lot of calls and emails from me about it, always gracious and dealt with me in a very professional way. I would recommend POTR highly!

I love POTR's website- you can really tell they are passionate about the specific kind of guitars they specialize in, which is pretty cool.

But the name!! It's a bit of a misnomer, really. I can totally understand how the market is (that it's hard to keep Rics in stock at all, especially the rarer ones), but everything posted on the website is sold sold sold! So there's not much of any Ricks to Pick from.... ;)

I guess you have pick of the new models (with a bit of patience!)

Cheers,
-Collin

Unfortunately, that's the story with most authorized Rickenbacker dealers. But check POTR's website often. They seem to get a fair number of used Ricks in on a regular basis.
