Pick of the Ricks is a great outfit you can feel good about giving your business to. I have made a few purchases through them and have always found their service and prices top notch. They are the only outfit I know of that makes up a set of Tomastik Infeld Flats for 12 string, as TI doesn't offer that, and you otherwise would have to order a six string set, than the other 6 individually. I really like the guage that they chose to do this with, as now I can solo and bend easier on my 360/12FG than I could with the Pyramids. The Pyramids sounded great, but were like playing clutch cables to me. As I always say, to each their own.

I have never been to the shop myself, but it is the unaminous opinion of all who have posted(that I have seen)that the experience is nothing short of what a music store should be, a little magic and love, and most of their customers are repeats who appreciate POTRs dedication to making the customer feel good about what they are doing, and not stupid for asking questions. I certainly hope to give them more business as my financial situation improves, and someday hope to meet Chris and the folks in person and experience the whole thing myself. Thank you for having what a music store should be instead of what most have become.

Here are some photos of POTR; keep in mind this is from a normal, average day showing typical inventory at any given time. First the owners, Chris and Shelby:

Is there a reason that all those guitars aren't for sale online?

Wes, that was POTR's hosting of MARF II in April 2007. Several Forumites brought their stashes to display for the weekend. Chris should be so lucky to have that group in inventory!

That inventory wouldn't last for very long if he did!
