Mid Atlantic Rick Fest, at POTR  :? , That would be Pick Of The Ricks in Lindenwold, New Jersey, next weekend. We are (almost) all going to be there, including forumites from the UK and Australia. A few Canadians will even be there. Come on down; check out the various MARF threads in the Conferences and Confluences section of the forum.

No MARF for me. :( A couple of theatre gigs came up immediately following the MARF weekend, so in the interest of keeping my marriage intact, I'm keeping close to home.
A Toronto gathering at some point would be fairly easy to organize, although a Maritimes confluence is always intriguing!

Yeah well...nope, won't be there. I already had one US venture this year when I went to Boston to see REM in June. Will have to pass this year, but hopefully in the future...

I live in Toronto & play drums as well as (better than) my Ricks.

If this were to happen in Toronto I could bring & swing. 8)

Please let me know by pm or email since I found this forum by accident.

Since you drum, you'll be one of the stars of the confluence due to appreciation of the fact that you can play the skins; anyone who drums at our confluences here in So Cal is always greatly appreciated! :D

Welcome Patrick! A maritimes visit would be out for me I'm afraid but I could make it to a Toronto session.

Hey sounds like we should set a date...

I'd be into showing up with a few RIC's in tow... Toronto works best for me. but Montreal wouldn't be out of the question...

Montreal would work for me also. I'm only an hour south of the city.

So do we want to set a date in June say for a Toronto RIC meet and greet?

Is 5 months enough time to plan it?

I'll help organize if I can.

I too can help organize. I am quite sure I will still be Ricless by then, but I can always drool.

The Toronto mini-confluence we had a couple of years ago was hosted at Coll Audio (Craig the owner is a friend of mine). He said he would be willing to host again, but I'm wondering if we might need a venue with a bit more room (there seem to be quite a few more folks here than previously). We could probably find a hotel conference room that would be suitable and fairly inexpensive, and it might be a handy place for out-of-towners to stay. Question though - does Toronto seem like the best place for a get-together?

I kind of liked Craigs place, and besides that I'd love to hunt thru his stuff to see if I can find the bassman head I sold him for cheap .....R
