The guy who delivers where I work on the other hand must have been a baggage handler or trash hauler in his previous life - the heavier the package, the harder he throws.
Ahhh, that type of action begs the foot-in-groin response.....

maybe it will get built this year but if it is standard 360/6fg you can probably buy one somewhere right away and even try it first and get a deal on top of that. the backlog is arriving to the stores while people lost their jobs and savings and houses and can't be *that* troubled by loosing simple deposit on a guitar. there is going to be plenty standard guitars out there and not so many buyers. this is going to be exactly same as any other industry with demand going to normal levels from a huge surge. i think we will see drop in all new guitar prices around april all over the usa and many many insane things (e.g. ric backlog or fender miraculous "custom" shop overpriced things) slowly vanishing. jezus! even motorola is going slow and they have their stupid chip in about every "smart toaster" today! if i am not complete old fool yet i can see new colors and maybe even lefty orders coming back to ric lineup within a year or so thanks to this great result of 8 years of reaganomics we've just been through. .
