I have no idea of exactly how RIC schedule production, so I''ll not wade it to that, but I suspect that right now, a retool to produce instruments on a faster and larger scale could lead to a drop in quality control and consistency. It usually does when these moves are undertaken, and it's subsequently harder to regain control over quality, and harder still to maintain it. I'd rather wait for the instrument and have it be right.

Also, if you're prepared to do a little legwork, and you don't have unreasonable demands, you can usually find the instrument you want. For instance. Rocker Guitars in San Francisco has brand new a 4003 MG, 4004L JG, 620 FG, 620 JG, 330 MG, 330 FG, 360/12 FG and 360 FG all just hanging there on the walls at MSRP or slightly below, They are also taking reasonable offers on them.

I knew I should have stopped in there when i was in San Francisco. I jst spent a week there. But I guess I have to get credit for showing some restraint.
