RIC Website
Well........after an extended outage it appears the Rickenbacker website is again functional. Maybe we can soon get the scoop on any new models or features which are forthcoming.
Re: RIC Website
I wouldn't hold your breath for anything new in the near future.

Well...I don't wish to sound critical, or like I know it all, (because I sure don't!) but I sure often wonder how RIC got itself into such straights as to be backlogged 2 years. And then to have folks jonseing for COY, or special custom options, or reintroduction of long discontinued models....I don't know.....And to top it all off, it seems like there's no practical strategem that RIC can think of to deal with such runaway demand. The whole thing just seems kind of weird, or out of balance to me.
Look....I'm just this guy who plays three chords on a guitar. I don't know anything about business. So I think I'd just better go back to my corner, practice my lessons, and do what I do before I really stick my foot in my mouth. (I'm pretty good at that, ya know.)

I've grown quite fond of the flavor of my foot, as much as I've put it in my mouth!
No need to add to this Scotty

Ah, yes, the tasty sock sandwich - had a couple myself
. I wonder if the big backlog is like the one they had soon after the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show? I remember there was a huge demand , you couldn't find a Rick anywhere- for that matter Gretsch
and obviously Vox experienced runaway demand as well.

Awww...you think so? I always figgered if three chords were good enough for Hank W. Sr. .....beatlefreak wrote:Time to learn a fourth one, Jim!jimk wrote:Look....I'm just this guy who plays three chords on a guitar.

Yeah.....kiramdear wrote:Three's enough. Don't leave out the truth.

Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.
