But you've said many times that you don't consider yourself to really be a bassist! :P

I'm a bassist. I can play guitar. Though I haven't had or played a guitar in a while, so I don't think there is anyone on the planet that would want to hear me play a one.
That's why I said I suppose. You guys keep telling me I can play very well...............   Make up your mind will ya?

Okay, you do play bass well, but you're a guitar player at heart. :D

It took me ten minutes to decide to tick both  .....................and yes even though I play bass every day (because I am hooked), I am a guitar player first.

Well, I don't have TV, so I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. But then, I've never had to worry!

My bass strings are plenty long and nice and thick!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

It's interesting that currently there is an even split (16-16) between bass and guitar with everyone else (24) thrown into the both category.

It's neck and neck. The suspense is killing me. ;)

Well then, bass will probably win because their necks are longer.

Guitar for me, although I can play workman-like bass.

Wow this reminds me of the old "Mary Ann or Ginger" conundrum! I own and play both but my bass skills lag far behind my guitar skills.
Here's my Bass resume, I play with a pick and I thought that Palm Mute was the latest rage in Cell Phones! :D
