...or 5, or 8, or even 12 for bass. Then there are those odd 7 string guitars.scotty wrote:OK 6,12 0r 4.

Actually, in the string category, rather than the count, it should be gauge and length...
Or perhaps... size and length?
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
Re: Guitar or Bass?
At one time I could have answered both. But I haven't played bass in a long, long time.
Jangle, Chime & Twang.
Re: Guitar or Bass?
99.95% guitar here, so I didn't tick both. I don't think 0.05% bass qualifies me...........

I play both I suppose, so I ticked both.

Re: Guitar or Bass?
Guitar for me.
I have played bass at some band practices and I do own one, but I've never played one at a gig. That's my logic on why I just chose Guitar!

Re: Guitar or Bass?
Mostly guitar but I'm thinking about a Rick Bass.
...went in to buy a 52' Tele and walked out with a 360 Jetglo...
Re: Guitar or Bass?
Guitar, and i'd have to say the 6 more so than the 12.
I haven't owned a bass since 1998, a 67 Hofner Beatle bass, but its long gone.
Been thinking about getting a little cheap Squire P bass or something for doodling about on though.

Re: Guitar or Bass?
I ticked both. While I consider myself primarily a guitarist, I can find my way around on a bass competently enough.

I play guitar, strictly, but would love to learn bass one day.
Re: Guitar or Bass?
I play both with equal inferiority.

But you've said many times that you don't consider yourself to really be a bassist!winston wrote:I play both I suppose, so I ticked both.
I'm a bassist. I can play guitar. Though I haven't had or played a guitar in a while, so I don't think there is anyone on the planet that would want to hear me play a one.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!
