I don't agree - this is the standard EBMM headstock. It's as distinctive as Fender's 4 in line or Gibson's 2 x 2.

I've always liked the Musicman headstock - its definitely unique!
I really like the look (and sound) of the "Big Al". When I have some disposable income (ha!), I may take a more serious look. Unfortunately it doesn't look like its offered in Sea Green...

It was even used on a prototype Rickenbacker bass, IIRC.
