Paul, let me clarify my earlier statements and say that RIC factory production of acoustic guitars ended circa 2005.

Is THAT what it's going to look like?kennyhowes wrote:
No "common misperceptions", Jason. Actually a misstatement that "Rickenbacker acoustics have been out of production since roughly 2005". There are a number of Forumites who can attest to this not being the case, and a number of others who patiently await their instruments' turn in the spray booth.jdogric12aolcom wrote:Peter, what comments were made in error? If there are common misconceptions floating around, let's squash them here and now for everyone's benefit, since a large part of this forum's function is education.

I was going to mention that, as the headstock on the Rick classical is the most elegantly contemporary interpretation of the classical's slotted headstock that I've seen.kennyhowes wrote:You tell me!jingle_jangle wrote:Is THAT what it's going to look like?kennyhowes wrote:![]()
The cedar top is a nice touch.
Hopefully the headstock will be better than my hasty PhotoShop™ job.
When I saw this I started laughing...I am waiting patiently but, I got this picture in my head of an unfinished acoustic with it's arms crossed, tapping its foot...just waiting for it's turn in the booth...jingle_jangle wrote: a number of others who patiently await their instruments' turn in the spray booth.
Very interesting pictures, Paul! Any "factory" tours available?jingle_jangle wrote:Interested in seeing a selection of my acoustics? Here's a couple of links to photobucket albums showing a number that have been finished over the past 3 years:
