very nice score and vibrant fireglo ! looks like the pick guard is a replacement...no tug bar holes ? how are the frets ?

Yes BaDRonBoY...replaced gaurd...some fretwear on the A, D and G strings...the most prominent wear is on the D string!
No wear at all on the E frets...???

joizy, huh ? we played a club in perth amboy. baz from skid row (a fellow buddy torontonian) came a did some tunes with us, had our singer on his shoulders, slipped on some water on the stage and all came crashing down hard !
very nice bass ! does it have flats or rounds ? my '64 would not intonate with rounds so i had to move the tailpiece back. is your serial number covert or can you tell the world ?

It has rounds now...I ordered a set of medium gauge TI flats for it. The serial # is...DD445.

sorry, it was club bene, south amboy and studio one , north newark in 1990...i feel elderly !
you gots an earlier bass...mine's DK-581. how does the horsey sound level wise compared to the toaster ?
only bands i could find was "perfect like me" ( a current bunch o' kids) or "peoples liberation music" started in 1973 with ties to jamie muir of king crimson and the european continent. mysterious !
