I should say I'm beyond excited about it! Same as your own story of discussing it with them, I just needed a quick way of payment to make sure I get the guitar in hand before I leave on a trip in a few days. No funny business

Preliminary report: cosmetic appearance is worse than the pictures showed. some binding reglued or replaced at bridge, and some rough areas on the back of the neck. Despite that, I think I'm in love. This is a guitar I'm gonna use. A lot. The neck angle is fine. The action is where it should be and there's room to go down a little.

Somebody else played this guitar, like everyday for 40 years, it looks like. I wish I knew the story behind it.

It seems to be double stamped, but the more legible one is BE193. It's hard to make out the other things that are stamped on top. Are there other double-stamped serials out there?

I have heard about other double stamped plates. It is one sweet guitar, congrats.

Does it have the "D" shaped neck profile I've noticed on other `62 models, as opposed to a "C" shape?

As usual, it appears CME didn't fully describe the instrument, but it sounds like you had it easier than some other board members' experiences.

Thanks Stan. As you can probably tell from the photo's, it was once in Ron's collection. I do not have the talent or equipment for photos like those.

Yes I would call it a D shape. It's quite comfortable.

If I may continue with my rambling observations: when it arrived, it was strung up with 9s, and it would not stay in tune. But after putting 10s on it holds its tuning perfectly. Maybe the Accent requires higher tension to function properly? There's no bar on it, so I haven't been able to use it for vibrato yet.

I also noticed that the body binding seems to be thicker than on other photos I've seen... it stands out in a very striking way, which I like a lot. Sometimes from a distance you might mistake the body of a 365 for a 335, but not in this case. Maybe I'm just imagining that though.

Just get yourself a 360V64 FG, put on some gold plastic and start playing the heck out of it! In 30 years it just might look like this one!
