It's been much cooler than normal here on the northern plains. It's only recently started getting up in the 90s. Our tomato plants have just been in grow mode - over 6ft high and we've only gotten 2 tomatoes so far. Even the zucchini hasn't produced anything yet...

Glad to hear you are managing to deal with it, Sheena.

It's been an unseasonably mild summer here. We're getting some sun here in San Rafael but points further South have been fogged in daily. Mornings are chilly till the overcast lifts. Hope it means we'll have a mild Winter, too, this year.

It only got up to 90F here in eastern Iowa today. Didn't stop the weatherguy from whining...

We got ya beat down here in Kaunsaslaund. It has been 100°F or a little better for most of the week.

We've been under heat advisories (heat index 105 plus) for going on 10 days or so. I've been avoiding going out in the afternoon unless I absolutely have too.

Here's today's forecast: Mostly sunny skies. Heat index near 110F. High 98F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

It's too hot here too, Israel is normally hot so we are used to it and AC is everywhere (home, office, stores, malls, cars...) but the walk from the car to the office is annoying, I live near the shoreline so the humidity is crazy too, it feels like I am in a sauna...

So the wind shifted from the NW (central Canada). It was barely 80 today with 40% humidity. Turned off the air and let fresh air into the igloo.
