I gotta figure out how to resize the pictures now, as they're too big to be posted here. Hopefully my phone can do that!

Maybe a project for my lunch break today.

I did get to test drive it in a group setting last night. It plays pretty well, and that's in spite of the fact that the neck seems to still be acclimating to the higher humidity here. I'll probably try to adjust the little bit of bow out of it, but I wanted to give it a couple of days to settle first. The neck is REALLY thin, which, IMO, makes it easier to go up the neck for little octave runs and such. I tend to be more of a "north & south" kind of player (stay in the first 5-7 frets and just play different strings), but this bass made it easier to just stay on the E and A strings and play up the neck.

It sounds amazing! Lots of growl. The tone is everything I hoped it would be!

I'm really happy it worked out for you. This is definitely a great bass you've got here. And you bought it from reliable people which will be good in the event you ever might need warranty work, etc. I was more than happy to test drive it for you.

Indeed I was. And I've never met him in person, but I've read his posts and talked to him on the phone, and he's a good guy to know. I've always appreciated his Rick (and bass-in-general) expertise.
