Ernie,

I just had a look at my two acoustic guitars for the first time in six months, and both of them were fretting out and unplayable. On the other hand, I've been regularly playing my electrics, and all five of them have remained properly set up.

I firmly believe that, aside from keeping your guitar storage area climate controlled (ie. using a humidifier over the dry winter months and a dehumidifier over the humid spring and summer months) the best thing you can do to keep all your guitars set up and playing properly is to PLAY THEM.

I wouldn't worry about if any of my guitars got jealous, as long as they don't go psycho on me.

If we did awards on the RRF.........this and one other thread are in a dead heat for the weirdest threads of 2012 and that says a lot............because Mitch would usually win that award hands down every year. Sorry Mitch but it's true man!

Maybe that's an indicator that there are too many unemployed (not gigging enough) Rickenbacker Packers 'round hereabouts, eh?

Oh, it's an electronic device "the folk" in Kansas spend a lot of time watching moving pictures. I watched it once. They got hunnerds of channels. Mostly they just grab a Budwiser and watch a lot of large people fall down a lot. Never understood watching that teevee stuff, myself.
