What an achievement, Paul - congrats again! I know my lefty bass is in there, but I've move around so often that if I am on the list to receive a comp copy, I'd be worried that it might not actually get to me! But I certainly don't mind paying an artist for his efforts. :)

Is that Biscuti's "previously owned" 4005 BG on the cover? Very cool!

Mine came a day early and it is beautiful. Kudos Paul. All I'd hoped for these 7 years. Also thanks to Hal Leonard Publishing for believing.

Yes, that is JB's old 4005WB BG, also featured inside.

I hate to disappoint, but not everyone I thanked in the acknowledgments or has their instrument illustrated in the book was on the comp list. :( I had to draw the line somewhere, else I'd have given all the copies away and they wouldn't have any left to sell! So, the folks who provided photos that I used in the book, and others who provided crucial information and editing made the comp list. The photos of your lefty that I used in the book were ones I took at MARF 2 in '07.

Dang, now I've gotta see who I'm before, hold on... Ken Joseph. OK, makes sense, they're alphabetical...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Hi Paul,
Just got my copy of the book yesterday. It took two days. I pre-ordered way back when you announced that Amazon was taking orders. Be proud. I will point out one discrepancy about the 4003SB. I have one of the first ones that were sold in New England if not the first when they were out. Mine has the one piece pick guard, not the 2 piece one. Even though the truss rods are at the base of the neck. I don't believe that they came in two pieces. The one showing in your book probably has an after market two piece. If you look at the advirtisement page for the ( 3 Legendary guitars, ) you will notice that the lefty model only has one piece. I believe we emailed each other about little tid-bits on this model, but I never sent you pictures and should have. I love your book and all the effort you put into it
