I agree with those calling for this fantasy bass to be short scale... otherwise the neck dive would be atrocious, plus it "just looks like a short scale" to me. I actually kind of want to hear a Ric short scale some time, because I'm still really impressed with the thump of my dad's fake Hofner. Partly that's the hollow body but I think the scale length also gives it some of that nice fat/round character.

What with the resurgent popularity of short-scale basses in the last few years, a new model based on my 'daydream' might just be viable!
And in exchange for my 'visionary aesthetics', I'll take one in Sno-Glo, thanx! :wink:
