I'm glad my main bass has a satin finish. I'd most likely loose sleep if is wasn't spotless. So the answer is a C64S for us lazy bastards.

Thanks again, all! I'm told that quarantine is nothing more than an of x-ray or two of the package, Dean. And the blighters charge you extra for it! I'm in the wrong business.........

Pics soon, boys and girls. I need natural light to do this baby justice - after I've polished her up, of course!

Glad to hear it made it's way to you Howard! Looking forward to seeing pics taken under the hot Aussie sun!
For anyone who has a 75th guitar, is the finish opaque or translucent? I recall seeing Bass #1 at RIC and you could see the walnut wings on the headstock.

Congrats Aitch. Sorry about the the possible blemishes. Sure it will all work out.
Now if only a 75th 330 can find its way across the country . . .
BTW, in U.S. Embassy parlance "DCM" stands for Deputy Chief of Mission (the #2 person behind the ambassador).

Hey Squid - I just did a restring on my 360CW last night, which has an Accent on it. All i'm gonna say is keep the Accent far, far away from your 330DCM!! The area underneath on my CW was not pretty.

Eee. Not good, John. I hope you're not too upset about the damage. I've actually put one on my 381, and I really do like it a lot. It sounds amazing during volume swells with a bunch of analogue delay. If you keep it subtle, you get some really nice modulation. It's way more "responsive" than I thought it would be. I have to absolutely slam a Bigsby to get a comparable effect.
Anyway, the 381's mapleglo, and the Accent's not going anywhere. I'm going to take your advice on the 330, though ... no vibrato, no matter how much I might want it!

Yep, my Accent is staying on my CW. I don't mind the damage. I'll get it touched up if I have to - it's Jetglo.

My dealer called! Yea!!!
Now I just have to find the time and get over there. Plus there are tornado warnings out for today.
Hhhmmm... is a 75th 330 worth risking a tornado...?
HECK YEAH!

To an organic or analytical chemist, DCM stands for dichloromethane.

Sigh. :-<
The pickguard is cracked and two of the pots don't work.
