75th Anniversary 330 Owners

Post by beatlefreak »

O.K. They're doing on on the Bass Guitars topic - It would be a good idea to start a thread to find out how many forumites have confirmed orders for 75th Anniversary 330's (someone can start different threads for the other models).

I've got one.

Only two of us? Anyone else in the forum have a 75th 330 on order?

I have one ordered as well, along with a 360. Not quite Melissa, but I'm happy.

John, you are such a nice guy I'd like to help. I feel a bit guilty that I have two coming and you don't have yours. Email me off line and we'll talk. There's a slight chance I might be able to help.

I wanted one from CME, Dave, but they wanted it all up front and I couldn't afford it. A $200 or $300 payment now, but not full price.

Dr. Bob, email sent.

It seemed (from the dealers I checked anyway) that the ones asking MSRP were taking deposits. Any dealers offering a discount price wanted payment in full.

I've tried to order one from Mike Parks, but I haven't received confirmation.

You may want to try Wilcutt Guitar Shoppe in Lexington, KY.... they still had two 660's and a 330 left in stock (we're getting follow-up calls after my hubby's successful search over the weekend).... Good luck! Image

Thanks, Melissa, but I'm going to leave this one up to fate! If I've won Mike's lottery (so to speak, it wasn't an actual lottery), then that's wonderful, but if I haven't won, there's a bit more money in my pocket and many other wonderful Rics to consider purchasing, including a colour of the year that isn't too far away now.

Yup, I was lucky to get an order on one (with a deposit).
Hopefully they won't forget me when they eventually (someday) arrive.

I believe that JH posted that we would have them in hand before the end of this year....

Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed! Image

Yes, Melissa, I recall JH saying that.
Let's hope it turns out to be true.

Funny thing though, the dealer said RIC (assume Kenny) told them within a year. (?) Maybe the dealer misunderstood and RIC said by the end of the calendar year.

I wasn't going to mention this but ... I'm also concerned that my order will somehow get "lost" by the time the guitars arrive. Even if it is by December. With several different salesmen at one dealership sometimes they "oversell" and one salesman's order take's someone else's. (Remember my story about that happening with a car once?)
