That would be the 40-Watt. I never did play the old 688, but saw many a thrash band come through there on there first tour. Testament,
Vio-lence,Death Angel. I'm 80's to the bone.

Yeah, the famous 40 Watt Club. My memory of Athens in those days, besides meeting REM was that in other towns you would ask "Where's the party?". In Athens you didn't ask, it was right in front of you.
