Nice!! I reckon the 360/370 guitars look great in JG! Missed out on a 360/6 JG in April... sold 2 hours before I walked in the shop. Damn!!

Any idea what the approximate delivery delay is over there?

With all due respect to Tony, you might want to reconsider. I think the 360-12CW is one of the greatest players and most wonderful sounding of all Ric 12-strings. It's as close as you'll get to a 360-12V65: check binding, 21 frets, full-width inlays, square heel, etc. The extra light top makes it a joy to play, and it jangles beautifully. Just my $.02.

Yep, that's what i thought exactly when i read the first comments on this thread, albeit i do get you guys were kiddin' Huh... if i broke up with my partner each time he said he doesn't like something i love, Elizabeth Taylor would seem to be a monk compared to me!

A lot of people on this forum have extolled the virtues of the 360-12CW. How much are they anyway(ballpark)?

I think they're around $1,800 at this point.

In 1995, six years after it was introduced, the 370-12RM had well more than doubled in value. It doesn't look like that will happen to the 360-12CW, even though it had only half the run of the RM.

i find RIC 6 stringers ugly too, except for the 480s.

We discussed this in your last session, Mr. Weingartner...I seem to remember that it's because 480s look like 4003s?

Allow me to propose a dilemma:

What if 4003s looked like 330s or 620s?

Would you still play bass?

Or would it be headless?

I'd still be playing Fenders.

I have to admit I was slow to see the beauty in a 330 style body.I think it may be a bit of an acquired taste. Now, however, I'd take one in FG any day.
It was the 4000 series body that attracted me.

Both designs, in fact, all Rickenbacker designs, were born classic and gain in classic design status with every day.

Except the 200s and 2000s. They are just too generic to distinguish them in any way except quality and durability, of course.
