I've never heard of a set-neck 4003s . . . but then again, I didn't know that the early 4000's were neck-through, either.
All I know is that, one day, when I have enough money, I'm going to buy that MG 4001s on the GoodGuysGuitars website, which I'm hoping will stay unsold until that time.
