This Forum, with the addition of yours and John's sections (not to mention the regular postings of John and Ben Hall and Kenny Howes) has fast become THE clearing house for information and opinion on the best electric guitars ever made--our beloved Rickenbackers.

Welcome, Bob. I think new Rickenbacker guitars and basses are some of the best ever made, and they certainly the first ones I'll look at. My most recent guitar is a 2004 Rick 660/12 that is perfect - it's hard to imagine a better 12-string. I'm looking forward to the discussions in this area.

Bob do you think my 360oswb12 autumnglow checkered bound has a shot at getting in the new rickenbacker calender that Paul is doing? I believe the cutoff date is Jan 15th. Congratulations on a most knowledgeable guy taking over this part of the forum.
