I love the gold guards, for what it's worth...

"The Union Flag" Ron actually has it right...technically speaking.

The Union Jack originally was the smaller jack flag that was placed in the bow of each of His/Her Majesty's ships. Through a decree by the admiralty and an act of approval in parliament (IIRC) the much larger mast flag known as the Union flag (but quite often affectionately but erroneously called the Union Jack) was also allowed to be called the Union Jack.

Interesting stuff eh what?

I really love the gold guards btw. The depth of the paint is amazing Paul. I am in awe of the job that you did, once again or should I say as always.

Paul, you have really outdone yourself here. Thanks for taking such great care on my project.
I must say that when you first suggested gold guards and TRC to me I was very resistant, since it matched neither the chrome hardware or the central color scheme. In the back of my mind the suggestion finally wore me down and won me over. Partially because I felt it could actually work and partially because I have such implicit faith in your artistic integrity.
Bravo Paul! I can't wait to feel every inch of her in my willing hands
