The paintwork was laid out to be an accurate UJ; there are certain proportions which must be followed and it's drawn on a very rigid grid.
The paint itself is a pearl white over a white basecoat. The pearl has a nice gold "flop", which does not photograph. Over that is a shaded kandy red (it's a shade darker around the edges, though you really have to look to notice it. The back, neck, and headstock are this color, too. Then it's kandy blue; bot quite a cobalt shade; perhaps a touch of green in it. Over this is spattered a copper pearl, very lightly, which is also shaded out along the edges.
There was a good deal of varnish sprayed on and flatted to a mirror-smooth surface and polished to a high gloss.
The guards are a special shade of gold to match the TRC, and the guitar is fitted with a 3-volume, one-tone control setup with compression circuit. I changed the slide switch location to work better with a standard knob configuration.
Looks good and sounds killer.

It really is a nice job, Paul.
